A bicycle is such a tricky device which does ride, although it shouldn't.
Despite the fact that it can only ride forward it seems to be no obstacle for millions of bikers, who
cover hundreds of thousands of kilometres (in total of course :-)).
Sometimes (recently more and more often) one may see such a biker on the street,
who smartly overtakes cars and people of course.
Sometimes it gets to be even more interesting when such a biker finds himself
on the ground (under his bike for instance). Then everyone may lough at him, that he
can't ride and stuff... However joy is for sure the greatest when the biker on the ground has
a fine quality bike and clothes. In such situation one may even point finger at the biker and lough his ass off.
Those are attractions bicycle provides passers-by with. However bikers themselves do have some kicks too. Example.
People stand and at the tram stop. The tram they are awaiting so impatiently won't come soon
cause it has just sidetrack two cross-streets before. A biker goes by cheerfully with a smile on his face,
thinking: "Buy yourselves bikes people". As a biker you can also scare some passers-by to death whenever
they walk alleys for bikers. Or you can also break several car side-view mirros whenever those are parked on such an alley.
But let's stop joking ;-)
The true advantages of cycling are:
- Speeding, may be not so fast like motorbike or car speeding, but pretty fast.
- Good health, when riding regularly.
- The opportunity of seeing interesting things and places cheaply (may be not so cheaply as when hitch-hiking).
- For those with no cars - independence and freedom.
I go whereever I want to and there is no one who would tell me he or she is not willing to go or has no fuel.
